Ok so my lovely big sister told me its about time to start putting together my S&T -thanks ladybugg!

Well where to start - after getting engaged we were very quick to select a celebrant and photographer, also we have chosen our ceremony location and reception venue.

Our Celebrant is Elfia Pattinson - she is a highschool teacher at one of the local schools and was the English teacher of one of my bridesmaids and groomsmen : ) She is an absolute character and we really clicked with her - she is the only celebrant we considered and said yes straight away haha! Our Photographer is Nikki Blades Photography. Nikki is wonderful and even talked us out of two hours work and reduced our price which was fantastic! I thought we'd need 8 hours coverage and her wonderful work figured it out to only needing 6 hours so saved a bunch! Check out some of her photos here http://www.bladesphotography.com/

Ceremony location is in a little park at the waterfront. We are getting married under the trees on the grass looking forward to the ocean : )




We are hoping to have the reception at the Redcliffe Leagues Club. They are holding the biggest room for us (we are having approx 120 people) also they are holding another room for me for a wet weather venue and we ahven't paid a dime towards it yet - how nice : ) There 2012 packages aren't out yet so until this happens I'm not 100% on them but at this stage I am 95% sure haha

Now onto the pictures. I am having my wedding dress made by goodgoodschina so will let you all know how it turns outas they are an online company. They are also making my bm dresses so I have asked them to make my wedding dress and one of the bm dresses to see how they look - both dresses only came to about $350!

This is the bm dress


but instead of the flower I'm having this brooch



then the girls hair will be like this




with frangipani's in the back

and maybe a starfish hairclip on the side


Their bouquet's will be a frangipani posie possibly with a starfish in the center



this but without the black tulle at the bottom


I've found the jewellery for the girls also but this is their present so I won't put it up as my MOH frequents my posts haha!

Jewllery wise I am wearing my sisters/MOH pearl necklace and bracelet (something borrowed) I was given pearl earrings for my 21st from my FH's parents which I am hoping will suit also.

I have my nose pierced and have had a diamond nose stud made in white gold as my something old (it was a diamond from my mum's engagement ring but then she had the stone size upgraded - it is perfect size for the nose stud though!)

I definitely have the something blue covered lol

Ceremony wise we are having this arbour at the front where I turn to walk down the aisle - we are getting married under two trees so doesn't really work there but I still wanted to have it


We will be doing a sand ceremoy using these vases



which I have matched up with our bonbonierre and name tag



FH has decided that since he cannot see what I am wearing I am not allowed to know what he will be wearing - so can't post that up : /

Stationary - for our engagement announcement we are had this

it is a royal theme however its kinda interpret as you want so Wally Lewis and Michael Jackson are also ok

Everything looks amazing, your dress is just georgous!!!! I thought that beach looked familiar (Morton in the background), I am originally from Reddy and all my family still reside there.

I have been to numerous weddings at the RSL, but never one at the Leagues. I bet it will be fantastic there since all their renovations.

If your looking for a videographer at all, Action Studio are located in Redcliffe and we are using them as our Videographer.

Everything looks lovely. Your dress is beautiful and I think I'm in love with your shoes!

I noticed that the photos of the BM dresses and your dress are a bit hard to see. Here are the originals of the dresses, which Zena has modified slightly with coloured pencils
The BM dress will be this, but blue with a white band and straps (detachable for me so I can breastfeed), also no train obviously



This is the original Alfred Angelo wedding dress, that she has coloured in as well - alternating layers of the dress will be the same light blue as our BM dresses.




Here are some more photos of the ceremony location as well. we will walk down the stairs and follow the path behind the lamp post until we are in front of the centre of the two trees they are getting married under, then we will walk through the archway and up the "aisle" to our position under the trees The council has been great in that they put barriers up when we informed them that people had driven a car up there and the council is going to do a clean up of the area the morning of the wedding to ensure that it's picturesque.
The ceremony will be on the other side of this tree, where there is a 2-3m gap and then another tree. The guests will be facing away from the beach.

These are the stairs that we'll be walking down. I will start at the top of the stairs, BM1 at the first platform and BM2 at the second platform so that we all start walking together but still have a gap between us - it should make for some awesome photos!

I was just going to say that I like your taste its so similar to mine, then I realised that a lot of your inspiration pics are from my show and tell

Bali-bride I've just had a look at your S&T and love the bm dresses and the kuba villa is gorgeous I think i'll take a look at it for our honeymoon!!
