I have purchased the most gorgeous Dark Ruby Red wedding dress. I was originally going to have my bridal party in black but then someone suggested a light champagne colour. Now that i have to think about it all I am in doubt as to what colours would oook right. I have around 5 months to decide and organise the dresses but I also want to plan my colours for my reception also. It is in a gorgeous place called Elizabethan lodge and is rather romantic, but I want to incorporate a little more and some of my love for Paris, anything Paris. Can someone please help.

I agree with Anica - I think Charcoal will look great with Red

I wore a ruby red gown and our bridesmaids were in aubergine / deep purple. I think it looked amazing.

i would go with either White, Black, Purple or Silver and maybe a pink would go......

My stepm-Mum wore a red wedding dress and the bridemaids wore cream and red from memory and my sister and I (JM's) wore gold. It looked great together.

My aunt also wore a red dress at her second wedding and had a light pink for the Bridesmaids. Also looked great together.

But if your going for a Paris type theme, I think black, white/cream, silver or pink would be perfect.

I am not too sure about colours i agree with the girls above but I had to comment sorry for the I am getting married at the Elizabethan Lodge too how gorgeous is it!

Go to black. Red and white are not suitable for her dress. you can also try a shade of blue / indigo or gray. Although Gray will be a little dull, dark gray better.
