Hi Everyone,

I have recently found myself out of a job and as crazy as it sounds, I loved the stress of planning my own wedding SO much I have had a brain wave and thought I could hopefully help some other ladies on this site deal with the daily struggles of wedding planning!

Im getting a bit bored sitting at home watching the walls and with no kids or pets to keep me entertained .... Im free to do anything I set my mind to!

My wedding was 3 months ago so its all still quite fresh in my mind

Hey hun..I was one of those 75 & have been mulling over the offer & trying to figure out if there's anything I need help with
For me its simply a case of having everything under control at the moment..that could change but right now I'm going along pretty well
For someone further out from their date your generous offer would be most useful..I'm surprised too that no-one's taken you up on it

I was also one of the 75 but I was on my phone and I hate posting using it - too small and annoying!

I am also feeling like there is not much I could ask you to do....we really only have our honeymoon left to organise....just paying everything else off and I am SURE you are not offering your money

I guess of you really want something to do.....we haven't got accommodation for the night before and night of our wedding yet....maybe you could research some hotels in Brisbane for me?? I understand if that is too boring - hence why we still don't have any!

Anyhoo I am also surprised no one has snapped up your offer! I would have LOVED help about 5 months ago!

If you supply me the details of the accomm your after I could have a look! Budget, Dates, Area in brisbane you prefer, Anything special ? Spa etc?? Self contained or just "a room" ?

Ok well the dates are the 28th and 29th September.

We will need two rooms each night because we will have our little boys with us (well one with FH and one with me the night before and with a babysitter the night of)

Budget wise I don't have a set amount but am thinking around the $170/per night - I know that won't get anything fancy but because we need the two rooms we can't really afford more.

Am not fussed if it is just a room....the second room will need to be able to have one adult and 2 children but we have a cot for the little one so only really needs 2 beds.

Oh also looking in the city but our reception is at Hamilton so anything closeish to there would be AWESOME!

This one looks nice ? $180 per night for 4 8kms / 10 mins from Hamilton. Free in house movies for the kiddies!

I totally agree about hating having to pay for parking .... But.

When you look at paying $190 per night with included parking, Its no different!

I can keep looking but for a 2brd / sleeps 4 room in Brisbane ON a weekend, Its not that easy to find something under $200

Yeah I know...there is no changing FH mind unfortunately!!

It is also the 2nd week of school holidays so most places are being booked already I KNEW we should have booked this as one of our first things but FH was like nah it's fine Shouldn't listen to him anymore

You can keep looking if you like but I don't mind at all if you don't want to...it's not the most exciting thing to be looking for!
