Hi - thanks Dove :). The reason behind the giveaway is twofold- one is because I am changing suppliers not sure if I am allowed to mention them but i consider them to be the best wedding album supplier in the industry...so naturally I am looking for a couple to showcase- the other equally important part is more to do with "paying it forward" :) I am extremely lucky and honoured to do what I do and so many brides to be have said they would love to work with me but my prices are too high- so this is a chance to give back to a deserving couple.

Also if any Melbourne newly weds- are interested in frocking up again- I am on the look out for a couple for one of my commercial clients- for further details please pm me. :)

Dove says she was on here for ages last night LOL....and I can see why :) My wedding has been and gone but I loved my wedding day :)

    M.

Thought I would share what we have planned so far (and I am having a mild panic attack that I'm behind after reading how organised everyone else seems to be!)

Date: 11 November 2011 (it's my mum and dad's 32nd anniversary - dad put the date forward and it seemed fitting)
    Ceremony: Botanical Gardens, Williamstown
Celebrant: Michelle Lothian (so excited she's an old highschool friend that I lost contact with, can't believe she is marrying us)
Isle Song: Haven't decided yet - can't seem to agree on music - I love the instrumental in Nothing Else Matters but not sure I can convince FH
First Dance: thinking of surprising FH with a Taylor Swift song - he loves her, just have to work out how to tell my MC withough FH finding out - can't wait to see FH face when he hears it
Dress: Alfred Angelo, Wedding Promises Melton - despite reviews they have been fantastic
    http://www.jpcollections.com/in-stock/a ... gowns.html but mine's ivory with rum beads
Veil: shoulder length under hair (just have to work out hair style), will be sewing rum beads in pattern as my mother's veil - have sourced veil and beads just have to order them
    BM's Dresses: http://www.dhgate.com/simple-line-strap ... 91d.html#1
Flowergirl dress: ivory dress with dark purple sash - getting it made
    Reception: Occassions at Williamstown http://www.occasionsatwilliamstown.com.au/weddings.htm
    Photography: Mark Dayman Photography http://www.infusionimagery.com/
Music: Integrity - Dad's workmate doubles as a MC/lead singer in band and Dad organised it as his contribution to the wedding (was very sweet and I'm excited to have a band - wasn't going to have one)
Hair & Makeup: have a trial booked for June - will keep you updated
Cake: have a few inquiries out and know what we want - two tier square cake with ribbon edging and flower decoration (hopefully the same as my bouquet)
Flowers: waiting to hear back if they can do what I want - posy bouquet of dark purple casablanca lily's and ivory calla lily's MOH & FG - smaller versions
Shoes: I managed to find a site that could make my knee high lace up ivory boots :vhappy: love 'em! love 'em! love 'em! http://www.elegant-wedding-shoes.co.uk/ ... roduct=190
Groomsmen Attire: Trying to gently push FH into looking into this but he is so relaxed about it - he might turn up in is shorts and thongs which he is threatening afterall!
Cars: FH mate has offered his 1930's jag - is goregous and works in perfectly with out very loose late 1800s/early 1900s theme
STD: Vistaprint - although haven't handed many out - have been telling people so they already know
Invitations: DIY - have ideas but will have to test my artistic skills to see if I can pull it together
Guest Favours: Chocolate hearts in silver boxes with purple or black ribbon. As a surprise to everyone and a conversation breaker I'm also including notes detailing some of the not so well known superstitions - I'm generally not very superstitious but it is interesting to read them.
Honeymoon: Langkawi, Malayasia or Boracay, Phillipines (booking in July so currently looking)

That's all I can think of and on paper it looks like we are on track :D Feel a little bit better now :groove:
    Is there anything I'm forgetting??

P.S. Hope the links work - new to this so haven't figured it all out yet

    Hi Everyone,
I'm another newbie to this site...well I have been following it for a couple of months since becoming engaged, but this is the first time I have written anything.
We are looking for some feedback from anyone who has been to a wedding at Cammeray Waters in Woodend..? We fell in love with the place the first time we saw it. So any feedback, good or bad would be greatly appreciated.
    Thank you in advance :-)
