I want to have one at the location so my sister can be there, as she won't be at the wedding itself. Then we'll have our dinner at our reception venue, just around the corner, and follow it up with the hen's night.

We didn't want to do one either and my celebrant was adamant we had one! I thought it was helpful - just for timings of your processional music, when people need to jump in for stuff. Where to stand etc.
Some of it is common sense but there were somethings we didn't think of.

We didn't have one. We had our ceremony in a park. DH and I met with the decorators to tell them where we want the aisle and seats set up. From there it is pretty self explanatory about how to walk down it and where to stand. We only had one attendant each and 2 page boys and 1 flower girl. We all just walked up when it felt right.

You should have put a poll question thingy on it We had one, but only in our backyard, not at our location. We are really glad in the end that we did for this reason Karishma wrote:Some of it is common sense but there were somethings we didn't think of.
It was just great to know exactly what needed to happen when, where, why and how. Plus we did it on a Friday night so it was a fantastic excuse to have a nice dinner and a few drinks!

DH and I just had a quick rehearsal without the bridal party at the celebrants house.
We didn't really need a rehearsal with our bridal party... between our venue co-ordinator and the celebrant, everything flowed smoothly.
