I've seen something similarish in a bridal magazine. Papers of distinction was the company's name.

Now I have a question for you ladies....

Did you write your guests names on their invitations? I always assumed I would, but Ive found a company who will send the invitations I love to Aus - but they only do stock standard printing - no individual names. So my other option is to print it myself when they get here. Thoughts?

I am getting my names printed on our invites....but that is how they come. If they didn't I think I would probably get them printed myself so I could....just think it's nicer for guests to have their names on there rather than a stock standard invite...IMHO

ALTHOUGH which way will work out the cheapest?? (Since I know you want to save the $$ where you can )

Hehehe thats what Im thinking.... I think I'll order the invites, but add my own layer on the inside and print it myself. Im not sure if I can print directly onto the invite, I might ruin the embossing (sp?)

Either way... Im excited I found them!!! I found the original seller (an american invitation company) but they wouldnt post to me, wanted me to set up a MyUS account But I found a seller on alibaba who sells them bulk (like 5000pc) who will sell me 60 And only at 2.50 a piece including shipping. So pretty stoked!

This is a far cry from my DIY efforts haha, I went to the crafts shop yesterday and was looking at paper, and I just couldnt get excited. I done my mock up remember? And I dunno, it just looks kind of basic/amateur. So I thought F it, and googled and found these. They kind of match my cake topper too? haha

I think they will look great with an added piece of paper in there....would you incorporate the blue????

You know Im not sure, I might get ivory invitation, royal blue ribbon, and a white layer with text. Should the text be black or royal blue? Hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm! But I dont think I will have a royal blue paper, I think thats the part that was throwing me off my DIY

I like that idea of the blue ribbon and the invite being white!!

Text wise.....We are having purple and black text...Purple will be our little saying across the top of the invitation and our names (I think!? Can't remember ) SO maybe you could incorporate both??
