We've decided to make little pots of jam to double as our place cards and favours...but I can't find cheap jam jars anywhere. Has anyone done this or know where to get them? We would need around 100.
Thanks, A

H Annette! We did jam for our Bombons!! Lots of fun. Here's a pic of the jars we got/completed Bombon: viewtopic.php?f=27&t=32588 I got my jars from this company: https://shop.newdirections.com.au/epage ... 6/145/2076 The jars are great, very well priced and arrived really quickly. 130 jars with lids including delivery cost me $91.50. Happy jam making! Lucy

we are doing the same for our wedding, but instead of buying jars (and this may sound cheap...) i got everyone I knew who had bubbas to clean and save the wee babyfood jars. I now have hundreds of them for nothing!

Just bear in mind that those ikea ones may not be as air tight as the vacuum sealed ones (you know, with the lids that go "pop" when you open them) so you just need to make sure that you a) don't make the jam too far in advance of the wedding and b) your guests know they have to eat them fairly soon after receiving them.

If anyone is still looking for little jars, my local Riot art and craft had like 5 or 6 for about $7 i think?
