Craig tends to roll his eyes…a lot…when anything remotely wedding related is mentioned, he was however quite certain about what he wanted to wear on the day. He wanted a  Mandarin collared suit and shirt, and absolutely no tie!

I started in our directory for this search I had seen some suits that matched Craig’s description – but I look at wedding images all day, who was the supplier – no idea!

I then stumbled across Eleganza Formalwear in Sydney who deliver Australia wide, they had exactly the suit Craig wanted – problem solved! Tatiana was really helpful and we have organised to order the suits later in the year.

Grooms suit for wedding reception and ceremony

I got very lucky finding this - I haven't seen anything like it since...

The shirt was another story – I looked everywhere. Given that the style Craig wanted was suit specific, I had a hard time finding anything remotely suitable, unless he wanted to wear a Chef’s tunic! So I went to my trusty Plan B – eBay. I was spoiled for choice – there were so many colours and styles I wanted to get him 5 of them! But I restrained myself and just bought one to see what the quality was like, Craig has given it his seal of approval.

We are now asking Craig’s groomsmen if they want a similar suit and shirt. Craig will also wear a red vest, the groomsmen will wear a black one.

I have also ordered a little surprise for all three of them – but more on that later!

Well done of the suit for him. Try also if he’s not comfortable with one of his regular pair of shoes, consider the popular option of the ever-classic sneaker in one of your wedding colors—your honey may be more comfortable with color-coordination than you think.
