Save the date!
In my blog travels I found a post from a couple in America that had a framed poster at their ceremony, it was the first verse of “You are my sunshine”. This song never fails to make the both of us smile, so I decided to borrow the idea for our Save the Date cards.
The inspiration for my save the date cards
After a few versions and some tricky stuff in Photoshop, I came up with this design. I am using Vistaprint to have them printed as a postcard.
About Karishma
Karishma is a 30-year old bride-to-be from Melbourne and an Easy Weddings staff member (she runs the entire office!). She met her now fiancee Craig at a mutual friend’s housewarming party in 2008, and they became engaged in October 2009. Karishma and Craig are planning an Irish/Indian wedding ceremony and will tie the knot in April 2012. Karishma is know for her ridiculously fabulous organisational skills and, in her blog, she’ll share her super-efficient plans for getting married.
