Kelburn offers a true farm wedding experience with beautiful homestead accommodation and gardens.
Kelburn offers a true farm wedding experience with beautiful homestead accommodation and gardens. A 1300acre working farm it offers you your own private sanctuary. With its convict heritage it delivers a photographic wonderland on one of Australia’s oldest sheep stations.
Kelburn is located in the Southern Tablelands, 2 hours from Sydney and an hour from Canberra. It is only 10 minutes from Goulburn, where all ancillary services required for the most wonderful event are located.
Kelburn experiences four distinct seasons. Winter is bracing with the dramatic outline of the magnificent deciduous trees as they lose their leaves. Spring is radiant with the drama of new life, the blossoms and bulbs emerging. Summer brings on a kaleidoscope of garden colour. Autumn is “the season of mellow fruitfulness”.
The original convict built, stone farmhouse still stands in the Homestead grounds. There is also a gracious, five bedroom federation homestead, which is available as accommodation for guests. There are a number of other buildings in the Homestead grounds, such as the shearing shed, which is available as a reception venue, shearers’ quarters, manager’s cottage and work buildings.
The gardens of Kelburn provide a number of areas from intimate spaces to large rolling lawns, ideal for wedding ceremonies and any sort of function. There is also a hilly forest and beautiful, natural ponds, which provide different opportunities.
We are proud of our farm and know you will cherish your memories from Kelburn.
