“Donna, Matt and the whole team truly did go above and beyond to make the most incredible weekend for both my Wife and I for our Wedding. Firstly, the on site accommodation was exceptional. Each room has its own bathroom, so it truly feels more like a hotel than a homestead.Secondly, there are plenty of rooms to be able to accommodate multiple groups and allow them to all socialise separately (because, let's be honest, there are always different topics of conversation that appeal to different groups). However, they have a fantastic separated "barn style" eatery that can easily accommodate everyone for some cosy meals by the fire. Similarly, the reception area has multiple sections to allow guests some downtime on the big night. They allow guests access to the Golf grounds to enjoy as many rounds as they would like, which certainly helped with my nerves to the point I was utterly relaxed all weekend. Finally, on the day itself, all the staff went above and beyond to be extremely helpful. Always wearing a smile and assisting us with whatever we needed, they helped to make the day run so smoothly. I would not hesitate to recommend this place for any Wedding. The Hescott family bought Sylvan Glen in 2001. The historic property had been a family orchard since the 1870’s and hosted local weddings, dances, and accommodation from the turn of the century. Three generations of the family still run and have a passion for weddings and events. With over 20 years of experience under our belts we are very proud to be hosting seamless, stress-free wonderful events!
