In the heart of Melbourne lies a chic European ballroom with soaring ceilings, sweeping stairs and city views peeking through original leadlight windows. Mural Hall is one of Australia’s finest examples of art deco architecture. Set 6 floors above street level it is a glamorous space to celebrate your wedding with precious friends and loved ones.

Mural Hall’s namesake is owed to the impressive collection of 10 original murals displaying influential figures from the arts, opera, literature, dance and fashion. So significant are these murals, the venue has been honoured with a National Trust Classification. Whilst homage has been paid to the era, the styling has a sense of modernity.

The Big Group provides a luxe dining experience with exquisite menus, complemented wines, a comprehensive cocktail list and impeccable service.

Mural Hall is available for wedding ceremonies and receptions and can accommodate between 100 to 400 guests with a dancefloor.

AMAZING venue, great service. Was treated like a princess with our very own staff for the evening who made sure the bride and groom had everything they needed. The support leading up to the wedding and the fact they jumped on board a month before the wedding (initial venue was on central pier) showed how good they are at what they do.

I can't speak highly enough of Myer Mural Hall as a venue, and of the Big Group as event managers. They were easy-going, accommodating, professional, and made the whole wedding so smooth. Anything that came up on the day they fixed instantly, which allowed us to have an amazing worry-free night!

The venue was absolutely stunning and the staff were very attentive on the day. Our guests loved the food and the spirit bar, where we were able to supply our own alcohol, was a big plus. It is quite expensive, but worth it, if you are planning a large wedding
