Service Description
Overnewton Castle was built by William Taylor in 1849-1859 as an elegant family homestead with a Scottish Baronial style. Even in those early days Overnewton Castle was a place to entertain.
Today Overnewton Castle has been operating as a family owned and managed reception centre for over 30 years, priding its self on personal and professional service with attention to every detail to create the perfect Wedding Day.
The Dining room over looks our beautiful English rose garden which provides a lovely setting for a garden ceremony or pre dinner drinks. The chapel creates a more formal atmosphere for your ceremony with original carved oak panels shipped out from Scotland in the 1850's.
Overnewton Castle is an ideal setting for an elegant wedding catering up to 140 guests.

Great place for a reception...the atmosphere was great and the outside garden is absolutely phenomenal!. Food was also very good...only one pet peeve I had was that the aircon was hardly even working during our 30 degree wedding day...a lot of our guests would go outside for a breather. But other than that it was a very memorable night and Overnewton did a pretty good job.
