Barefoot Beach Weddings (BBW) offers you the full beach wedding experience – stress free! Our dedicated wedding coordinator looks after every last detail to ensure your day is as enjoyable, as it is memorable. Our range of beautiful menus use fresh local produce. Our unique location provides stunning natural backdrops and photo opportunities. Our experienced and friendly staff offer professional and knowledgeable service. I've worked in the weddings and events management space for years and planning weddings on the beach is the single best job in the world! I love working with couples to bring to life their wedding day dreams and making it as seamless and stress free as possible. Our crew will work tirelessly on each and every wedding to ensure you finish up amazed and happy with every detail. Our aim is to deliver a beach wedding experience you and your guests will rave about!

FAQ

The ceremony is no earlier than 4:30 pm with the reception beginning immediately after at around 5 pm. Times are flexible beyond 4:30pm and we can create a schedule that suits your plans.

A huge bonus of our wedding's are that the reception can begin immediately following the excitement of the ceremony and guests don't need to go anywhere! We have amazing locations including limestone cliffs and rugged coast line right at the venue which means you don't need to travel far from your guests and we have a special sunset picture plan to make capturing all the special beach wedding photos very easy. However, yes, shoud you require another venue The Common is a bar / bistro / restaurant just 400m from The White Elephant. Guests can enjoy a drink and nibble on the deck or play a game of pool inside whilst they wait. 

Depending on your guest numbers we have the option to set up indoors for both reception and ceremony if the weather doesn’t allow for either to be outside. In the event your numbers are bigger than what can be held within the restaurant a marquee can be arranged. 

Our menu caters for a range of dietary requirements including diary free, gluten-free, no onion/garlic, vegan & vegetarian. It is your responsibility to determine the dietary requirements of your guests and with enough notice, let your wedding coordinator know.

Kirby and Barefoot beach weddings were so easy to get along with and met all our needs and wants and got us in contact with all the relevant contractors to make our lives and organising of the day effortless. Kirby always went above and beyond from the get go. Meeting each other over teams was great as we didn't have to travel to the venue. Everything was all very well organised on the day and even last minute changes, due to potential rain was not an issue for Kirby. Thankfully it didn't rain and the changes weren't required. The staff and venue was very well equipped to handle everyone. The package deal with all relevant suppliers was a great option to have if required and was great for us as we both worked FIFO as we did not have the time to get in contact with them.

5 stars is just not high enough to give Kirby and the incredible team at Barefoot Beach Weddings. From start to finish Kirby was so easy to deal with, so relaxed and really listened to what we were after. The process was made so easy and stress free and it all came together so nicely, the food was amazing and plenty of it, drinks were fantastic and staff were just so lovely and helpful. We had the most perfect day, and we cannot thank the team at BBW enough x

We cannot thank the team at Barefoot Beach Weddings enough! Kirby and her team were an absolute dream to work with from the very first email! Kirby was so kind and helpful no question or request was too challenging for her. Anna on the day/night of our wedding was soo attentive as we had a cocktail style wedding remembering to eat or even drink water becomes second nature. Anna made sure that for the entire night not only us but our bridal party Anna and the other team members of the night were constantly checking that he had eaten, had a drink and made sure we had water! That attentiveness made all of the difference. Our wedding guests are still continually raving about how good the venue was, the food and the drinks lists! Thank you again to Kirby, Anna and the team at Barefoot Beach Weddings!

If there's one thing that truly made our day unforgettable, it's the incredible service we received from Kirby and Hannah at Barefoot Beach Weddings! We couldn't have dreamed of a better experience with them and the venue as a whole. What really stood out to us was just how attentive Kirby and Hannah were. Words can’t begin to describe how perfect our wedding day was with Barefoot Beach Weddings. From the very beginning Kirby and the team made the process so easy and went above and beyond to make our wedding day magical. The venue is a little slice of heaven, and our family and friends couldn’t stop raving about everything from the views and the food (which are exceptional), all the way to the staff and the laid back, fun vibe that was created by the cocktail style reception.
