Rest assured, Rydges Resort Hunter Valley keeps an indoor space reserved for each outdoor ceremony in case of wet weather. The space allotted to your wedding will depend on hotel availability.

We would love to welcome your guests over the wedding celebrations. Special rates are made available to your guests for all room types. Your wedding coordinator will issue your personalised website link prior to your wedding date for your guests to book their accommodation when ready. 

If you opt for an outdoor ceremony or reception, we will always have a wet weather back up for you. 

Check in is 3PM and check out is 11AM. Early check in and late check out can be requested and is subject to availability.

We had both Alyssa and Caitlin help us with the wedding planning. We were stressed and only had a vague idea of what we wanted. The girls has AMAZING communication and had an answer for every question we had. They not only helped us prepare for the day, but Caitlin was there for the day and she truly was amazing. She was so calm and collected and very professional. She kept in contact with everyone, helped us get from our villa to the ceremony location and just truly went over and above. It was the best day and Caitlin and the staff truly were amazing and I can't recommend them enough.

We couldn't have asked for a nicer morning to be married out in the gazebo overlooking the water - it was perfect. We chose to do a Champagne Breakfast for our reception. The food was delicious and the staff were friendly and attentive. Alyssa, our wedding co-ordinator was lovely and helpful. She checked in on us throughout the day and made us feel very comfortable. We stayed in the accommodation for a week with family and friends. The rooms are clean and comfortable. There is so much to do in and around the hotel.

Rydges was the perfect base for us to stay for our wedding. The well set out and spacious rooms were excellent for all our getting ready needs on the day of our wedding. It was so great to have all our wedding guests also stay at the same venue and get to have breakfast with them the morning after the wedding. It was also such a beautiful surprise when we got back to our room after the wedding to find complimentary chocolates and wine as well as the the rose pettles laid out in the room. The staff at Rydges really go the extra mile for all their guests and it made it a really memorable experience for us. We would definitely stay here again!

So unorganised on the day prior and the day of the wedding. Talked so much up leading up to the big day, all fell apart the day prior and day of. No one communicated between the motel and the wedding organisers, No wedding coordinator on the day. She may have caught covid but she ignored all phone calls and she did not put another person in charge she just asked another worker to assist. Dancefloor was wrong size, complimentary room/ wine etc was a mess on the day. Would not recommend for your only 1 big day

Some venues operate on a booking window which might not allow you to book more than 12 months out while other venues book out two years in advance. I would generally recommend to be flexible with your date to avoid disappointment and to start looking at venues approx. 18 months out from your wedding.
