Service Description
Nestled in a unique position amongst the beautiful established gardens of Pialligo plant farm, the quaint character filled, fully restored 1930's cottage offers a unique dining location close to the Canberra CBD.
The venue is only minutes from Canberra International Airport as well as the boutique shopping precincts of Kingston and Manuka and has ample parking.
Owner and chef John Leverink leads a dynamic, creative kitchen and restaurant team to create a memorable dining experience for all occasions.
The Cottage
The 1930's cottage is a light and inviting space seating up to 45 people comfortably. It overlooks the beautiful gardens and is inviting both in summer and winter.
The Garden
The beautiful gardens overlook the Pialligo Plant Farm Nursery. These well established grounds are divided into 2 areas. The deck seats 25 and the lower terrace can seat a further 12 people. This north facing area is sunny in winter and well shaded in summer.
This unique venue is a tranquil setting for an intimate lunch, cocktail party, product launch or wedding.

Food was great, service was okay. We were not big fans of the managers. During the 3 meetings we had with them, it became apparent that they were keen to make the most money out of the least amount of effort. Many people commented on their abrupt nature.

Pod Food has been under new management for the past 12 months. The new Chef/Owner and team have a long history of experience in some of Canberra's best weddings and events venues. We strive to achieve that every aspect of the wedding and events process is dealt with integrity. The new team has conducted many wedding in the last 12 months with fantastic results and success.
