OVERVIEW

The ultimate all-in-one venue that you will have all to yourself. Featuring Jacaranda Gardens, stunning photo locations, gorgeous reception room, a professional planner to assist every step of the way and so much more!

Your day starts by walking down the aisle, gardens surround you, lake behind you and Jacaranda trees hanging above framing the moment you say 'I Do'. From there you will be escorted out in golf buggies to our many stunning photo locations while your guests enjoy the scenery and lawn games over a celebatory drink.
The party starts as you arrive back to the clubhouse and join your guests as you experience the culinary delights from our wonderful in-house chefs before raising a toast and dancing the night away.

What sets Lakelands apart:

Our Jacaranda Trees, they are gorgeous and green for most of the year, and bloom in October - November in purple flowers dropping petals over the ceremony lawns.
Our waterfall, that's right - we have a cascading waterfall!
Wet weather options; we have plan A, plan B and plan C - we've got you covered (pun intended) regardless of the weather!
Whole place to yourself - We dont take any other wedding/event bookings on your wedding day and our restaurant is not open for dinner service, so you wont be sharing your day with anyone else.
Professional Wedding Planner and on the day Coordinator - Celebrated Love are professional wedding planners and will look after you every step of the way.
All in one location - once you arrive, you and your guests can stay put. No need to make travel/transfer arrangements with everything in walking distance.

We cannot fault Melissa and the entire Team of The Lakelands Golf Club! Mel went above and beyond and was every step of the way from my many questions when we were enquiring up to my many many many questions on our wedding day! We weren’t able to follow our timeline (as most people had set our expectations that this may happen) however Melissa never made us feel rushed while still guiding us to flow the event as it should. We want to write more but we are still recovering but wouldn’t want to leave this not being put out there too with the intentions to help the other future brides and grooms out there to find the venue with the “real deal”. the venue was beautiful although did feel the lady organizing our wedding wasn't very organized. after the ceremony guests were left standing around with no instructions and water stations left empty on a warm February wedding

Thank you so much Ashleigh & Nina for your help throughout the year helping us create our perfect wedding! Communication was great, and questions always answered promptly during the planning stage, Lakelands went above and beyond to make sure everything ran smoothly on the day thanks to excellent staff and even offered a complimentary meal for our toddler! The ceremony and room looked amazing, the food was awesome and all of our guests couldn’t fault a thing!

Lakelands Golf Club was stunning for our ceremony and reception venue. Melissa went above and beyond to ensure that everything ran smoothly for our day- nothing was too much trouble! The staff at the venue were spectacular as was the food! Definitely recommend!

How many guests qualify as a small wedding?

Do venues usually have a minimum?

Yes, venue packages usually have a minimum number of guests starting at around 40-60 adult guests. I would say anything under 50 people is a small wedding. Some venues are flexible with their packages though so its still worth enquiring even if you don't think you will meet the minimum number of guests.

Do we need to have an Engagement Party??

We have been engaged for over a year now and everyone that we would invite to the engagement party already know we are engaged, so is there any point in holding one??

Lakelands Golf Club

Engagement parties came about to give the couple a chance to announce their engagement and also provides an opportunity for family and friends to get to know each other before the wedding. I would say that now-a-days with social media and how closely intact we all are, there isn't a need for an engagement party like there once was - perhaps an intimate dinner with close family and friends to celebrate the engagement will suffice.
