“Blue Mountains Botanic Garden Mount Tomah is a hidden gem. Amazing scenery, beautifully landscaped gardens, so many amazing photo opportunities. Our photographers said they could photograph us in the gardens for a week and not run out of material! The team was an absolute delight, very helpful and obliging with all our questions and requests. The ceremony went off without a hitch, and the wet weather option is also beautiful and a step up from most wet weather venues.” — Maria A.

January 2024

We had a wedding at the BMBG in December 2023. The garden and the view are just stunning. The staff were very helpful, accommodating, clear and prompt in their communication. The venue being a public garden means there are certain restrictions on what we can do, but these were communicated very clearly by the staff. To the team at BMBG, thank you so much for making our day so special!

April 2016

We went up before the wedding and met with someone to book it all in. We had a tour guide that takes you around and then you can pick what you after. It was really simple.

Beautiful venue!

September 2019

We really loved the gardens here, however as the place wasn't really focused on weddings we had to DIY a lot of things and get a lot of things by ourselves. It was a little hard to manage, as it was more of a public place. It was still a really beautiful place overall though.

I am looking for a venue for reception in Sydney and byo caterer?

The choice of date is 29 Dec 18 and approx. 60 people and suitable for an Indian wedding reception

Blue Mountains Botanic Garden Mount Tomah

If you are happy to travel to the Blue Mountains, we can offer a venue where you can byo caterer for a group of 60 people. We have availability for 29 December 2018.

Do you recommend the couple avoids drinking at their reception?

Blue Mountains Botanic Garden Mount Tomah

The decision as to whether a couple drinks at their reception is a personal one based on many issues including cost, culture, tradition, availability, permission by the venue, etc. However, as long as there is a focus on the responsible service of alcohol, there shouldn't be any problems.

Sunday Wedding?

We are looking at having our wedding on a Sunday. We would like it to fall on a long weekend but have found that the price is the same as a saturday. If it was to be a working monday in your experience have people left early or just not came altogether.

Blue Mountains Botanic Garden Mount Tomah

The Blue Mountains Botanic Garden Mount Tomah offers weddings at the same low fees all year round. In our experience, it does not appear that the day of the week that the wedding is held on makes much difference to the attendance or early departure of guests. We have held mid week weddings where the expected guest list at the outset is even exceeded by the ime the wedding is held, suggesting that all guests invited attended.
