John McVeity Centre

The City of Playford is proud to present to the northern community, the redeveloped John McVeity Centre.

The Centre is named after the first Mayor of the City of Munno Para, John McVeity. He was a long-serving Council member who was actively involved in the community, and instrumental in creating recreation facilities for all ages. One of Council’s larger assets, this facility is managed by YMCA South Australia in consultation with City of Playford.
