Weddings can be one of the most overwhelming events you will plan. Excitement quickly turns into an all-consuming challenge that you just want to be over with! This is where a Planner becomes your best friend.

- Save Time and Money

A planner has trusted industry contacts and can provide you with discounted rates and savings through our established relationships. Time spent trawling the internet is a very real issue. Time is money, and your time is more valuable than the amount of hours you will invest in finding the right fit. Planners have databases full of highly recommended professionals to choose from.

- Eliminate Stress

Planners are born organisers. As members of wedding groups who share information, we know the absolute best in the business and bring you everything you need as a one-stop- shop.

- Flexibility

Flexibility for a good Planner is key. If you don't feel connected to a provider that we suggest – no problem, a Planner will have several options waiting in the wings!

SCE Pop-Up Wedding Planning is a fully flexible, all-inclusive service. We take care of everything onsite which simply leaves you to enjoy a fun, relaxed and enjoyable wedding day.

Hello Annelise,

Thank you for your question.

Now days a bride that wants to make sure her Wedding day is magical, special and everything she always dreamed of, will want to hire a Wedding Planner, to ensure that everything runs smoothly not only on the wedding Day but also the lead up to the wedding.

I always tell my brides and couples, when you book me as your wedding planner, I will be like your fairy godmother, from the day you book until the moment  when you leave that reception as husband and wife.  I will guide you through out the whole process, the styling , the theme, the budget, the implementing of every detail that goes into your wedding. We as wedding planners aim to take away all the stress. All you have to do is make the decisions and let us do the rest. I am there on the day of your wedding from the morning when you are getting ready, right through until the reception. We can offer advice, and pass on to you our expertise in any aspects of your wedding.  For busy brides that work full time and don't have the time to run around, and plan the wedding at the same time, it is advisable to have a wedding planner, to make the whole process , as stress free and smooth as possible. The result, your dream wedding, and a long lasting friendship with your wedding planner.

Hi Annelise! A wedding can very quickly consume your time, so if your working, have a family, want to have a life, that doesn't revolve around your wedding - may be worthwhile investing in a wedding planner. If you have the time, energy, and want to do it - that's also fine!

A planner will save you stress during the planning process and especially on the actual day of your wedding. They'll also serve as your creative partner -- not just overseeing logistical matters -- but also providing a wealth of ideas, insights, opinions, and more. Don't have time to research vendors? Consultants do all the planning and legwork. That way, you just show up to appointments, approve designs, sample menus, and so on. Also, consultants know the best vendors to hire, and they can score you great rates and negotiate watertight contracts -- after all, wedding consultants work with vendors all the time!

Hi Annelise S,

I appreciate how challenging it can be to juggle your professional, personal and "wedding" excitement....... then start to get across all that needs to be considered especially in the early stages of an engagement and the wedding planning process.

That's why partnering early with a wedding planner and event specialist is a proactive and cost effective investment to ensure that your vision is delivered your way and on budget.

Wedding Planners and Event Specialist Coordinators can help you get on the right track......... faster and more efficiently, and offer advice which can save you valuable time and often avoid costly mistakes well as remove the inevitable stress that goes with planning the biggest day of your life.

Your exact requirements should be honestly canvassed. Take time to consider all the points of your thought process, talk about it with your friends and family, make notes ... and then and only the if you are comfortable with all aspects consider partnering with you're wedding planning / coordination service of choice.

The key point is - a good relationship - is there a "fit" for you?

It is also important to make sure you have considered how much help you will need to plan and deliver your big day.

Consider your time constraints (work, family, sport commitments, and social life), genuine support levels and your realistic budget for your day.

Also hash out and agree how many guests that both you and or families will host.... It's a critical decision that will impact on many of your other decisions going forward - already discussed I know, but it is a key and critical element as is the specific date of you're wedding day - always have plan B.

*A word of caution - many venues offer "planning services" in situ...... but make sure you confirm in writing what it is they do - and do not do - on your behalf as some only deal with venue related issues like rentals and day-of coordination suppliers specific to the venue - at the venue only....no timeline/run schedule/s or extra external supplier coordination that are particular to your needs e.g. entertainment, photographers and videographers etc....... or anyone at all to manage all these details pre ceremony and wedding as well as the day itself .

These points and other factors will qualify and inform you of the choices and options you have in the choice of a wedding planning and coordination service provider or not and what kind of service you will need. These considerations will all impact on the design, development and successful delivery and out come of your unforgettable day.

What kind of planner would you need to partner with?

All relationships - professional or otherwise must commence with - trust. It is the key component to a successful partnership!

* Full Service Wedding Planning and Coordination - This is the jewel in the crown of wedding planning services and consists of a dedicated Wedding Planner who partners with you to help deliver "your day – your way". Your personal wedding planner is your guide and sounding board through the practical, design, creative, technical, contractual and the financial aspects of the planning process from the start through to the finish of your big day and will also be your On the Wedding Day Coordinator too.

*Consulting and the "Day-of" or "On the Wedding Day" services are cost effective but significantly less comprehensive and involved than a full - service planner who will attend vendor meetings with you, help design your overall concept, and be there to make sure everyone is in tune with you and your requirements to a timetable, manage all your appointments, do the necessary research, advise, consult, connect, book, negotiate your creative and contractual requirements and guide you through the wedding labyrinth.

*The "On the Day"…. or "Day - Of" planners will not only be there to help with the commitments and contractual arrangements you already have made with your venues and suppliers but will ensure that it all runs smoothly from start to finish - on the day.

The Day of Coordinator should commence working with you approximately 2-3 weeks before your big day and will be the linking coordinator for the bridal party, guest liaison, venues, vendors, stylists and floral designers, photographers and videographers, musicians, MCs and the entertainment.

You should be provided with detailed "running sheets" as to every aspect of the day including preparation and time frames for and with your agreed make up and hair artisans, photography and videography, the ceremony location, transport details, and the reception venue.

This wedding day coordination service should include time analytics and special requests for you and your guests as to the catering requirements and special reminders for the reception / catering and venue service team too.

It's a journey for sure that you and your fiancé are on...... and its always great to consider all options. Take time to evaluate, plan, develop and deliver your day - your way.

All the best for an unforgettable day.

Hi Bride to be,

WOW! Congratulations on your engagement. I bet you are getting excited.

Planning your dream wedding can overwhelming and emotionally hard for some brides.

By having a wedding planner there to help and support each decision you make, and to provide guidance, it will make planning your big day seem that like more relaxed.

Wedding planners can help with making sure you don't over spend on your budget, make sure the wedding you want is the right one, take the stress off trying to plan a wedding and also enjoy life as an engagement Women.

Best of luck for your big day, it will come around super fast.

I hope this has helped with your question.

Kind Regards Simone

Some advantages to hiring a wedding planner would be firstly taking so much pressure/ stress off the Bride and Groom to be and also their immediate families. A wedding planner can fulfil your dream wedding when you really don't have the time to organise such an event. Working in the wedding industry also can give great discounts to the couple which they would never receive if ringing around for themselves. Just knowing someone else is ticking off all the boxes so you can relax and enjoy your dream wedding day is worth every cent. Hope this helps xxx Regards Sharon One Weddings

Hi Annelise,

Congratulations on your engagement!

Planning a wedding can be very stressful. There is so much to organise that it can be quite overwhelming, making the whole thing feel like a job rather than one of the most beautiful and special days of your life. If you want to ensure that your special day unfolds as a wonderful and beautiful experience a wedding planner can help you save time, stress and money as they have a wealth of knowledge and supplier contacts they can call upon to bring it all together much more conveniently and effectively. A wedding is generally a 'once in a lifetime' experience and whilst a bride may be very clever, creative and capable of organising everything she should really be focussing on enjoying her day rather than worrying about everything and everyone else.

Whether you are an ultra busy bride who needs someone to take care of all the details or you would just like a little guidance, Impact Style and Design can help you to plan your special day and stress less. We offer single hourly consultations for those who simply need some inspiration and support as well as a range of wedding planning packages to suit your needs.

Regardless of whether you choose to use a planner or not we hope that you have an amazing wedding celebration!

Warmest Regards,

Impact Style & Design.
