Hi Hayley, congratulations on your upcoming wedding. Exciting times to plan! :) generally table 1 would usually be bride and grooms immediate family. But then again there is no rules of how to do a seating arrangements. Typically its good to put the immediate family memebers closest to the bridal table followed by relatives then close friends. Partners of the wedding party can be seated with close friends that they know.
Best to put family members in seperate tables if they don't get along.
