It really depends on your guest numbers, the type of food you intend to serve, your styling preferences, and the location you choose. A casual style of wedding on the beach with a guest list of 30 to 50 will cost much less than one which is held in an international hotel with a 3 course meal for 100 plus guests and all the trimmings. We have a range of ceremony styling packages from as little as $750 and we have planning packages starting from only $500 for those who have a good idea of what to do and have the time to do it. On the other hand, we can provide more elaborate styling for ceremonies and full planning services for those who want to stress less and have everything taken care of for them.
Again, it really depends on the style of wedding you want, guest numbers, venue availability and a range of other factors. Generally, you will need at least four months to plan it properly but you may need to book your venue and other suppliers much earlier than you think if they are popular. Some venues book out 18 months or more in advance. So, as soon as you have made the decision it is best to start some pre-planning investigations.

A huge congratulations on your engagement and your upcoming wedding. A website is a good idea if you have a large number of guests attending from different states/countries. However, to manage a website can take a lot of time and money, so be sure to budget accordingly. There are some fantastic apps (free and paid) that you can use for managing your wedding party & guests and updating them with all the information that they need to know for your big day. How do i invite guests to my ceremony but NOT my reception?
I have quite a few friends i want to attend my ceremony, but i wanted to keep my reception intimate with just close family and friends. how do i tell people they can come to the ceremony but not the reception??

Hi Alexina,
Congratulations on your upcoming wedding. What you could do in this instance is make up two separate invitations for your guests. One invitation inviting your guests to your ceremony and reception and the other invitation inviting your guests to the ceremony and you could say something like "due to budgetary constraints we are only able to invite a limited number of guests to our reception, but we hope that you can share in our special day by attending our ceremony". Is it ok to have a few hours gap between the ceremony and reception?
I have friends and family travelling from overseas for the wedding. Day will start around 9ish with a bride pick up and wedding "gate crash" followed by tea ceremony and actual wedding ceremony around 12.30. Reception won't be until 6pm. Is that too long a break? My mum and rellies would like to refresh prior to reception and change clothes so they don't mind the gap but not sure what others will think...

A huge Congratulations to you and your fiance on your engagement and upcoming wedding. It is totally reasonable to have a significant break between your ceremony and reception as most couples and their wedding party use this break to have photo's taken and freshen up for the reception etc. However, it is not normally any longer than 2-3 hours max. Any longer and your guests may find it inconvenient as they may not have any way of filling that 5.5 hour gap or have anywhere to go to freshen up themselves. I would perhaps aim for a 2pm ceremony and 5:30pm reception. Hope that helps you. Wishing you all the very best on your wedding day. Impact Style & Design
