I'm a light chaser, a coffee freak and love a good crisp sav in the evenings. I'm a mum of two awesome kids and wife to my best friend of 24 years. Photography is the other love of my life. I'm one of the lucky ones who is truly blessed to do what I love for a living. I dream big, live bigger. Its a life rule for me that if I'm not on holiday, I've got one booked in to look forward to. FAQ

Absolutely!  I wouldn't operate without these.  I'm a fully accredited professional wedding photographer, and its a requirement to do so.  Full details can be provided to any venues who request this. 

You betcha I do!  I love intimate authentic weddings.  For the wildly in love or the wild at heart, I will travel far and wide to document these stories. 

I have packages that include a second shooter if you specifically want one.  I am a ninja on the job and can cover a lot of hours and ground on my own.  Sometimes I bring a second shooter if I have a double or triple back to back weddings, just to help with carrying equipment and will get them to shoot from different angles if I think it's beneficial.  But to answer the question - yes can do and when appropriate I bring a legend with me. 

I'm full time as a photographer - I've worked very hard over many years to get to this point, and am very blessed to do this as my only income.  

I travel all around Victoria for weddings, I've shot weddings in Palm Cove, New Zealand, and the Cook Islands.  I'll follow you far and wide to document and capture your love story.  I'm a seasoned traveller and have explored many places around the world.  Anywhere new is always super exciting.  

I'm a Nikon gal... I love my equipment and carry 2-3 camera bodies on me at any one time with extras in my kit.  I use Nikon lenses, usually you'll see me with a 50 mm 1.4 on my cameras, along with a 24-70, a 70-200 and my fav wide 14-24 mm for those epic wide angle shots.

I cannot recommend Mel highly enough. She has the most cinematic and incredible eye for shooting the perfect picture. We recently hired Mel for our wedding and we could not be happier with the result and now have a gallery of photos we simply can’t choose our favourite from ( this is no exaggeration!) Mel has an extremely warm, friendly and direct approach and knows exactly what she is doing. A true artist and professional. 12/10

Mel photographed our wedding in March 2023. Mel was exceptional both in the lead up and on the day. She is organised, and I had full confidence the day would run according to plan. On the day Mel was assertive keeping things moving as they needed to. She was also very calm, keeping us calm throughout the day. Nothing was too much effort to get us the perfect photos. Mel went above and beyond in every way, even becoming an impromptu repairer when my wife's veil tore. Highly recommend - you won't be disappointed.
