Hello there!

My name is Rachel, and I'm a Melbourne-based fine art wedding photographer. I take pride in producing images that are full of emotion, and taken from a unique perspective. If you're looking for colourful, whimsical, and creative images to document your special occasion, then you've come to the right place!

I have years of experience in portraiture and events, and am confident in directing even the shyest of subjects. I'm friendly and easygoing with a knack for making people feel comfortable within minutes of meeting. My love for people translates into my work, as I'm aim to capture the natural beauty that exists in everyone.

My passion for the arts inspires me to see beyond the ordinary. I want you to feel all the emotions of your event when you look back in 20 years- the excitement, laughter, tears, and everything in between. Rachel May was absolutely awesome! She was the best decision we made when choosing a supplier. She is so much more than just a photographer and we ended up spending most of our wedding planning time with her. Despite only hiring her as a photographer, she advised us on our agenda, fashion choices and even helped us out with minor on-the-day issues. Most importantly, her photos are gorgeous!

When we first met Rachel, we knew straight away that we wanted her to be our wedding photographer. Not only does she capture absolutely magical shots, but she was so friendly, helpful and supportive. We had to cancel our wedding on Saturday 13 Feb due to the sudden lockdown in Victoria. After we heard the announcement on Friday, we decided that we wanted to move the ceremony forward to that night. We're so grateful that Rachel was there to capture our special ceremony and that she was able to accomodate us at such short notice. We were lucky enough to reschedule our wedding reception the following weekend and have Rachel there again to capture the night! Throughout the entire process, she was so easy to work with, professional and had great communication, and made us feel comfortable in front of the camera. I can't recommend Rachel enough!
