I am a professional wedding photographer, based in the Barossa Valley, covering South Australia and beyond.
I believe everyone deserves great wedding imagery and believe in keeping your costs down. I will do my best to provide you a reasonable quote, one you will be happy with, my coverage starts at $1895 with most couples spending somewhere between $2500 - $4000.
I aim for authentic and genuine wedding images, images that tell an honest story. Making sure that we keep everything fun, natural and relaxed is also very important to me, and while I record a lot of your day candidly, "getting the story", there are times when a little direction is needed and helping people create magical portraits is something I love.
When choosing your wedding photographer, you want to be sure that you will work together well. I recommend you follow these suggestions.
Do you like the way their images look? Yes? Then take the next step and get a quote. Make sure to ask about additional services and products you want, such as albums, Photo Booths etc.
Found the right type of photographer? At the right price? Then it is time to meet! It is really important you like your photographer. Ask them questions, make sure you know about them, about the way they work and what you can expect from them, on and leading up to your wedding day.
If your photographer ticks all of the above, then chances are you have found the perfect person to photograph your wedding :)

if a photographer is with me for 8 hours, when do they get a lunch break?
when is the best time to give them a meal?

Hi,
For me its either on the drive between locations, during a quiet moment or at the same time as the Bridal party are having a snack. If it is a meal during the reception it normally makes sense to eat at the same time the Bridal party is eating, that said each wedding is different so organising the most appropriate time for a meal break will depend on your wedding plan.

How do I stop a photographer using my wedding images for their promotion?
I have read a few contracts and I am so confused. Why don't I own the photo's of ME that I paid for? :(

First thing to do is speak to the photographer and see if they will change their contract to accomodate your wishes. Many photographers have a clause, in the contract, covering usage of digital images for the client and the photographer, this is just so everyone is clear about what can and cant be done with the images. I ask my clients if they mind me using the images for promotion and advertising, and for the most part people are excited about their images being used, on the occasion someone would prefer to keep their images private I respect their wishes.

There are a few reasons I might recommend a first look and few, if any reasons, why I would'nt. Reasons why you might want a first look can include wishing to spend time with your guests in between the ceremony and reception, or maybe you want to keep the first time you see each other on your wedding day a little more personal. Reasons I might advise against it is if there is absolutley no where to get any decent imagery or it would take a really long time to get the two of you together, which would effect the whole timeline of your day, but for the most part if one of my couples wants to do a first look I will do anything I can to make sure they can and make it as awesome as it can be.
