House of Sounds

Malcolm has always loved music so to start his career as a mobile DJ. He worked for a couple of the best know DJ companies in Perth while taking up residency at Jeremiah’s Nightclub where he learnt to beatmix. After 5 years at the club he decided to give it away as he was becoming very busy with doing mobile DJ work at Weddings and other functions around Perth. During that time House of Sounds was formed in 1991 and since then Malcolm has gained a reputation for outstanding service and clients continually rave about his ability as a DJ and MC.

His Current setup comprises a 15” Powered EV Sub and a Pair of 12” EV speakers. This set up gives a beautiful sound with Malcolm adding that having the Sub allows him to have a nice bottom end without having the system to loud as you do with 15” speakers. If you want power and base, his system caters for around 250 people (Seated) in its standard form. For larger functions, Malcolm suggests using 4 of the EV 12” speakers with the sub for a beautiful sound reproduction. 2 microphones are standard with one being cordless which can be used for speeches, singing, compering etc. A 3rd Michrophone is available on request either cordless or corded. 3 lights and bubble machine(Venue Permitting) are standard at all functions with extra effects available on request.
