BONSAI is made up of some of the most experienced young musicians in Melbourne's wedding industry, with the aim to provide a unique experience that can cater to almost any setting.

BONSAI pride themselves on their professionalism and their "no matter what it takes" attitude to satisfying their audience, while also creating a fun and memorable experience for everyone to enjoy.

The band bring a comprehensive show to all performances, encouraging sing-a-longs and requests, always ensuring a top quality performance, and that the crowd are fully involved and eager for more. If you after a party, we will bring it! If you want chilled out tunes or dinner music, no problem!

BONSAI has performed together over 1000 times across a career spanning more than 10 years, and have also been a part of some of Melbourne's biggest cover band names including:

BOUNCE;
NITRO;
HIGHRISE; and
THE EGO HAS LANDED.

BONSAI has proven experience, having worked at weddings, corporate and private functions as well as regularly in pubs and clubs for more than ten years. The band is flexible enough to cater to almost any setting, for any purpose, in any venue.

With a very extensive songlist, BONSAI is also open to any special requests you may have for your occasion and are more than happy to learn specific songs too.

I am beyond glad that after contacting multiple bands, I found Bonsai. I had a special request for my aisle song that I wanted timed in a certain way and they nailed it. I only required a band for our ceremony and while so many others were only interested if they could play at the reception too, Bonsai were so accomodating in meeting our needs. Tim got in contact often clarifying how I wanted things and even sent me a demo of them practising my aisle track which almost brought me to tears. His wanting to make sure it was perfect meant so much. They deserve so much more than 5 stars. Beyond happy with their work. Thanks so much guys, especially Tim.

Book this band. seriously, they were amazing, everyone was dancing and having fun. They play our song requests. the music all just blended, old, new, rock, pop. we had the best time ever. Im so happy we booked them.

These guys rock, the dance floor was packed, everyone was dancing it up. They did our song requests and help with the speeches and bits. Great communication. They were lovely to deal with. I've had so many compliments from our guests on this band. everyone loved them.
