Mark Nettle (Trumpet) began his obsession with playing jazz at age 10 after discovering the feats of Louis Armstrong and Harry James. After more than 30 years of playing in Brisbane’s leading Brass Bands and Orchestras, Mariachi and Salsa Bands, with Swing Jam he returns to his true passion of jazz improvisation.

Dale Jones (Double Bass & Vocals) has been a professional and versatile double bass player working for many years not only in jazz, rock and folk, but performing extensively with the Tasmanian, Melbourne and Queensland Symphony Orchestras. Dale is also a songwriter, composer and teacher.

Kerry Beaumont (Keyboard) plays all styles of music. She studied classical music and jazz at Adelaide University and has since made a career from playing, teaching and writing music. She plays with the Jazz/Blues Duo ‘Flounder’ and as a solo cocktail pianist as well as ‘Swing Jam’.
