HOW TO ORDER
Once you have chosen a design, click on “order” in the menu bar above and complete the form. Be sure to include all the information that you would like to appear on your invitation. You can use the wording layout of your chosen design or you can change the wording layout to suit you. You will receive an invoice from Kara Invitations (within 24 hours).

PAYMENT
Invoices can be paid online via PayPal or EFT.

TIMEFRAME
Following receipt of your order and payment, a digital proof of your invitation (and any other stationery) will be emailed to you within 48 hours. Please be aware that payments made via Paypal are processed immediately, whereas payments made by EFT can take up to 3 working days to be processed. At this point you will be able to request any revisions to your design. Once you are completely satisfied with your design you will be asked to send through an email indicating your approval of the final design for printing. Your invitations will then be printed and posted to you approximately 2 weeks after your final design approval.

When do you send out invitations? How far in advance should RSVPS be?

General timing guidelines for wedding invitations is:

Save the Date cards: 6-8 months in advance

Wedding Invitations: 6-8 weeks in advance

Destination wedding invitations: 3 months in advance

RSVP date: 3 weeks before your wedding

Most wedding reception venues require confirmation of final numbers 1 week before your wedding - so to give yourself plenty of time to chase up anyone who hasn't replied on time you should set your RSVP date 3 weeks before your wedding. Adjust your RSVP date according to the date that your venue requires for finalisation of guest numbers and payment.

Pocket fold invites - what colours look best?

Hi, I'm totally lost atm with what colours to use with my diy pocket fold invitations. The pocket folds are ivory and the paper is ivory I want to use a glitter card mat to stick the invite on but not sure if to use silver or blue. Our wedding colour is turquoise blue. Just not sure what will look better or if I should use a different colour paper then ivory. Thank you

I think its always great to incorporate your wedding colour into your invitations, whether its in the form of a backing mat or an envelope liner, so I would suggest that you use turquoise blue rather than silver. If your pocket folds are ivory then I would also stick with ivory card/paper for the invitations. Hope that helps! Have fun putting your invitations together!!
