Tara is a freelance Makeup artist and Hairstylist based in Melbourne. With over 8 years experience ranging from working in high-end salons as a hairdresser to photo shoots and high-profile weddings and events, she prides herself on creating beautiful looks that last.
After many years specializing in bridal hair and make-up, she understands how important it is to look and feel your best on your wedding day. Generally, wedding days are long, so with your desired look in mind, she will advise you on the best make-up and hairstyles to suit you insuring flawless longevity. With over 8 years’ experience specialising in Special Events and Bridal parties, her work includes International Destination Weddings, Red Carpet Premiers, Backstage Events and working in High End Salons as a Hair Stylist and Colourist. Tara trained as a Makeup Artist in London which lead her to working with many talented people including celebrities such as BBC presenter Fearne Cotton and singer Elaine Page.

Yes! I am completely confident and trained in bridal hairstyling as well as makeup.
To make sure that your big day flows smoothly, a trial is highly recommended. I can discuss in person different makeup looks and hairstyles and you can decide on a look you like!
Both ways are possible! The only time I recommend you have makeup done first is if you're going to have bangs or a piece of hair that is going to be sprayed into place.
Absolutely. A true professional makeup application will last the full duration of your event. Not only are the eyes and skin prepared with the proper skin care and priming products, but you will be set and finished with professional powders and sprays that seal in and help fix the makeup in place. All the products in between the prepping and sealing are chosen for their longevity and high performance in all tear/sweat and weather conditions.
Definitely!! If you are not sure what you are wanting we would love to help. We try our best to ask a variety of questions in order to get an idea of what you may want. Remember, it is your wedding day so if you aren't sure we will usually stick with something more natural. We can always start out that way and work our way to a more dramatic look.
