KATE IS A 2014 AND 2013 AUSTRALIAN BRIDAL INDUSTRY AWARDS (ABIA) FINALIST AND PROFESSIONALLY TRAINED FREELANCE MAKEUP ARTIST.

KW MAKEUP WAS FOUNDED IN 2009 BY KATE WITHERINGTON. KATE IS A 2014 AND 2013 AUSTRALIAN BRIDAL INDUSTRY AWARDS (ABIA) FINALIST AND PROFESSIONALLY TRAINED FREELANCE MAKEUP ARTIST. SHE SPECIALISES IN TRADITIONAL AND AIRBRUSH MAKEUP APPLICATION FOR WEDDINGS, COMMERCIAL, PHOTOGRAPHIC AND FASHION SHOOTS AND SERVICES THE BRISBANE AND SUNSHINE COAST REGIONS.

After attending dance and drama school in Sydney, Kate eventually went on to study beauty therapy and makeup in Queensland. Since 2000 Kate has worked as a beauty therapist and makeup artist.

Kate has lectured in both beauty therapy and makeup and has since gone on to develop KW Makeup, a successful freelance business which has done makeup for magazines, television commercials, fashion shoots and countless weddings.

In more recent times Kate has also developed a series of workshops designed to help women of all ages to better understand their skin,current skincare treatments and to confidently apply makeup.

Kate did my making up for me and my bridesmaids for my wedding. We all loved it. I wanted a few changes after my trail and I loved the final result. Our make up looks great all day. Was beautiful in photos but still looked like me :)
