Usually 10 months before your wedding is a good time. You need to allow 6 months to order your dress so 4 months of trying on lots of dresses is great timing. It doesn't hurt starting earlier but keep in mind that if you start too early and then decide you want to order a dress you had seen 6 months ago, it may have been discontinued by the designer or sold off the rack so is unable to be tried on again. Buy off the rack is also an option if you don't have enough time to order a new gown in. We have it cleaned for you and offer alterations too.

Hi Jess

Its recommended you start shopping for your dress at least 9 months before your wedding, dresses can take up to 6 months to arrive in store depending on the designer you choose. Most girls do start 1 year before as that gives them time to try and dresses and choose their dream gown :)

If you would like to make a booking to come in store and try on dress please call the shop on 92265611 or you can head to our website www.collezione.com.au and use the booking system.

Hope this helps

Kind Regards

We recommend shopping for your wedding dress soon after you choose your wedding date. Appointments can fill up several months in advance so make sure to plan ahead.

As the dresses take approximately 5-6 months to come in, ideal ordering time is 8-12 months before the wedding date. It can potentially be done in a shorter time frame dependent on rush order and designer. Our calendar is open up to 3 months in advance. Our Saturday and Sunday appointments book out fast so the more notice you give the higher chance you will have for your preferred day and time.

Hi Jess

I as a designer ,would suggest start earlier than later as soon as you feel to look for dresses to get a idea of the wedding dresses in the market and finding out what suites you or what makes you feel fantastic  in your wedding  gown ,however I would not suggest to buy or design your gown 12 months earlier than your wedding day ,because your taste might change or you might see new gowns which might make you to change your  ideas for your look on the day .

I belive if you order your gown from off the rack shops ,make sure you receive your gown no later than 6 months and leave 1-2months for the alteration ,and if you design your gown from scratch you need only 6 months to design and customise your gown as long as you exactly know what you like after trying some gowns months before designing your gown.

good luck

Dear Jess,

We receommend our brides to start looking a year before their wedding. First thing to book for would be the venue, then comes the dress. Your dress plays such a big part in your wedding so it is good to start early! But not too early because your body shape and taste in dresses may change.

Hope this helps!

Hi Jess

Looking for a dress can be daunting to some, you may find on your first visit to a store, however you may still be looking in a few moths. It generally takes most people around 8 months. At Always and Forever we walk you through the process of discussing your look for your wedding day if you have one, then working through shapes and styles and breaking down elements that work and don't work until you find that perfect wedding gown for your day.

Please don't hesitate to contact us if you need any further information we are always happy to assist.

Hi Jess,

I suggest to begin looking 6 - 7 month before your wedding..  Normal suppliers need 14 - 16 weeks to get your dress made..

Hi Jess,

We recommend a full 12months prior to your big day, however short time frames can be accomodated to, so if your special day is coming up soon, pop into one of our beautiful show rooms and let our teams wow you with our choice.

In Nicole Spose we recommed to start looking for your dream gown 12 months prior to you wedding date. You will have the time to try a different selection of gown, different style and chose the one you will fall in love with! Then you will have time to do modifications and fittings to prepare your perfect wedding dress.

As soon as your venue is chosen an you decided on style of your ceremony. Start research on designs and styles of gowns that you like. It is never to early, but do not feel rush and don't make any rushed decisions. Be happy and content with your final choice.
