How does the bride and groom leave the reception? Do we need to hire a car to pick us up after the event or have someone else drive us home, or just Uber it??
Are guests normally allowed to eat/drink/smoke in the vehicle?

No Smoking is allowed in any Queensland vehicles and per QLD Transport Regulations. We provide bottled water for all passengers and we can allow other drinks as required, mainly in the case of a Bride and Groom having a glass of champagne together. We do not supply alcohol but its fine for guests to supply their own and we can provide chilled storage when requested. We generally avoid food of any sort in the vehicle.

The term "getaway car" is used a lot in the sense that you are escaping from the event. Whatever you choose to call it, it's a memorable time for the couple as its usually the first time they have had a chance to enjoy each others company in private during the course of the whole day so we recommend a vehicle that is as elegant and comfortable as the cars used during the day. Most companies offer a discount if you book all cars as a package, and some include a complimentary bottle of champagne.
Each company is different, and it helps to make sure the vehicles are comparable in quality.
