The Celebration Cake side is all about creating the clients/customers Personality into an edible piece of Art, a celebration for Birthdays, Christenings, Fantasy, Novelty, Weddings, Religious Celebrations and even Divorce cakes, and all other occasions.

I will have a consultation with the client to design your ideas into a cake; I will tailor it to your specifications. Coming up with concepts that include individual interests, colours, to name a few ideas, as well as cake flavours.

Dave helped me to design a wedding cake dessert table, and had great ideas and suggestions. The end result fitted in well with the rustic theme and made for some terrific photos! The cakes were delicious and everyone loved it. He also thought through little things like how to ensure it travelled well as we had to take it to a winery. Highly recommend.

Do I cut the top tier or bottom tier of my wedding cake?

Hi, I have two questions in one. First of all, when cutting the cake, are we supposed to cut the top tier or the bottom tier? Secondly, which leg should the garter go on?

Generally the bottom cake is cut by the Bride and Groom for photographs,and the cake is usually cut up at the venue and served to your guests, I always make sure that if you intend to keep the top for later, make sure you tall the Catering Manager.....also if you wish to keep toppers as often these get disgarded

when I deliver cakes I give cutting instructions which tell you how many portions you get and I use the same instructions myself to determine the size of cake needed as it can vary from dessert to finger size But as a guide 2.5 cm square x 8cm + deep for finger size , 5cm x2.5cm x 8cm + deep

At consultations I discuss the size and often demonstrate the size and often offer samples when asked...
