My job is to look after all your legals and help you work out the type of ceremony that suits you. My approach is pretty simple.

If you have seen this celebrant in action and you like what they do, then why not? Ask your friend what they were like to deal with and if there were any issues. If the recommendation is good then go ahead and organise a meeting, meetings are obligation free, so if you find you don't gel with that celebrant you are not obliged to book them. It is important that you feel comfortable with your celebrant as they are going to help you create your ceremony and deal with all the legals. Its ok to interview a few to choose the right one for you.

Are there any affordable celebrants out there for a simple ceremony?
Hi, I'm looking for a celebrant to perform a simple (yet still professional) wedding ceremony. I don't want all the usual song and dance or long storytelling - just a simple, sweet and short ceremony. And a streamlined process in the lead up with whatever legalities are required; no coaching, or coffee catch ups as I'm just not that kind of bride. Are there any celebrants out there that do this and are affordable? (Needs to be under $500) Thanks for your suggestions :)

Hi Lucy,
On the day(your wedding day) for about 2 hrs. This includes the set up, ceremony and pack up. Leading up to the ceremony and depending on what you are looking for, usually an initial meeting, signing of the Notice of intended marriage(min of one month before the wedding) , then phone calls, emails and possibly another meeting to iron everything out and a rehearsal (about an hour). Hope this helps.
