I am a trained facilitator, writer and teacher so I am happy to add your personality easily into the ceremony.

Hi Kate. Congratulations. I think using the same celebrant as your friend is a lovely compliment to your friends taste as long as the celebrant is a good match for you and your partner. I have been referred to by brides and found this a huge help as a celebrant to understand groups of friends getting married and found it easier breaking the ice quickly to understand the bride and groom needs and will also help you get to know your celebrant easier too. So many aspects to a wedding however the celebrant writes and makes your ceremony and tone for the joy, love and celebration to begin so make sure they are a good match for your day. The celebrant is setting the tone for the day with the words, energy and enthusiasm for your connection and what you choose in style as a couple. Rituals and sentiments may also be used to engage your uniqueness and your family and friends in this beautiful connection that you have. Most of all the celebrant will keep everything you discuss as a couple as private information. Their job is to get to know the real you as a couple so they can write the most unique beautiful, warm ceremony that captures you with all the legal aspects covered...
