OVERVIEW

As a marriage celebrant, I like to have the groom and bride fully involved in the planning and decisions in creating their ceremony.

Congratulations! How exciting you are getting married.

A Wedding Ceremony is legally binding, so the decision to be married is an important one.

As a marriage celebrant, I offer:
* Involving the groom & bride in planning & creating their ceremony
* Sample ceremonies and optional wordings & poems
* Accommodating any special circumstances or special requests
* Working together to make your ceremony one that you'll be happy with

Have a look around my page and I would love the opportunity to meet you and see if I am the Celebrant you are looking for.

We cannot thank Kylie Jones Celebrant enough for her help and guidance in the lead up to our wedding. Kylie gave us all the information we needed to know, including information we didn't know we needed! She made getting married such as easy process and really took away that stress from us. Kylie was extremely professional in our meetings and on our wedding day and liaised with our band, photographer, videographer, and venue to ensure the ceremony went as smoothly as possible. Thank you, Kylie!

Kylie is and was a wonderful Celebrant, we couldn’t have asked for any better, she was very easy to get along with and very professional. I would recommend Kylie to anyone who is getting married to use as their Celebrant, she made our day something that we will both cherish for a very long time.

Is it possible to get married at the registry and then have a wedding later?

Kylie Jones Marriage Celebrant

No you cannot have a wedding after you have been legally married at the Registry Office. You would have to have a Renewal of Vows Ceremony or a Commitment Cerermony afterwards.

What do you need to have a wedding?

My partner, myself, two witnesses.... what else?

Kylie Jones Marriage Celebrant

You need an authorised person to marry you, eg a Marriage Celerbant, Priest or Minister.

You also need to lodge a Notice of Intended Marriage Form one calendar month prior to the ceremony date.

Your Marriage Celebrant will also have you both sign a Declaration of No Legal Impediment to Marriage Form prior to the ceremony and you will also have to sign the Official Marriage Certificate and Marriage Register after you have made your legal vows to each other (legal vows).

Two witnesses over 18 years of age present throughout the ceremony.

If you have any other questions, please feel free to contact me.

Do celebrants come with marriage documents and how early can I file them after the wedding?

I was wondering if marriage celebrants usually come with their own marriage documents included in their package? Also, is there a timeframe of when I should file my marriage documents after the wedding? How early is too early/how long can I wait? Thanks!

Kylie Jones Marriage Celebrant

On the day of your wedding your Celebrant will turn up with a Marriage Certificate and Official Marriage Certificate and her Marriage Register. There are 5 people at the ceremony who must sign this, bride, groom, 2 witnesses and the Celebrant. You will get to take with you the Marriage Certificate and the Celebrant keeps the Official Marriage Certificate to lodge with Births Deaths and Marriages and she retains her register. You don't need to do anything. The Celebrant should also offer to order your Certificate from Births Deaths and Marriages after the wedding for you for the BD&M Fee.

I hope this is not too confusing. Please contact me at any time to clarify on 0418 613149.

Happy planning.

Kylie Jones.
