Help! I need vows help, I honestly have no idea what to say! I love her. What else should I say?

I asked my friends and they said it'd come to me. It hasn't. I am freaking out!!!

Ann Hills Celebrant

I find that most couples know what they would like to say but they are just not sure how to express it. Talk to your celebrant. I have about 20 different examples that I offer to my Bride and Groom This is just a guide but it will give you plenty of ideas how to express what you are feeling. Begin by writing a few lines, then go over it adding a little extra as time goes by. When you are reasonable happy with what you have written run it past your celebrant and I am sure they would help in perfecting your own ideas. The most important content of your vows is that it comes from your heart.

Who should sit at the top table if the bridal party have all got partners?

My bridal party is made up of several friends, my sister, my finance's sister, and also his brother. Everyone has their individual partners, who are invited to the wedding. Some are being stubborn and want to sit with their partners, but that'll make my top table huge. But if they sit at other tables with their partners, my top table will suddenly have nobody. Are there ways around this? I don't really want to sit alone, but having a huge top table doesn't really sit well with me.

Ann Hills Celebrant

If you have a large bridal party the partners would be unable to sit at the bridal table. I think most unfair for members of your bridal party to complain. Stick to your guns. It is your day not theirs. They will get over it.

Is it rude to give a couple a gift when they have said no gifts?

I really don't feel comfortable not giving them anything... But they said no gifts/wishingwell on the invitation!

Ann Hills Celebrant

It is not rude but it is unecessary. If you feel under some obligatioin maybe you could take them out for dinner at some stage after the wedding.
