Whoa, you're on fire!
We love your enthusiasm, but that's a lot of enquiries sent today which means a lot of responses coming your way...
Don't worry, you've done nothing wrong but just so that you don't get overwhelmed with suppliers contacting you over the next few days, we limit the number of enquiries you can make per day.
Chris McCafferty - Celebrants Perth
Generally, when couples book a celebrant how long do they book them for?
Unlike some other suppliers, Celebrants don't usually book by the hour. You book a Celebrant for your wedding ceremony, for as long as it takes - for an 'all inclusive' service fee!
Personally, I plan to be at your venue an hour before the planned start time. It's my job to take the stress and anxiety away from you and your guests at the Ceremony. Being there early gives me time to meet and liaise with the venue coordinators if applicable, and any other suppliers (chairs, flowers, decorations, musicians, etc), troubleshoot any possible issues at the venue and facilitate any necessary solutions. I have ample time to set up and sound check my PA equipment, my signing table and chairs as applicable, and then be ready to greet the groom, groom's men, family and wedding guests to ensure everyone is reassured and at ease prior to the arrival of the bride and the bridal party.
I don't book 'back to back' Ceremonies (I rarely book more than one Ceremony per day) so that there is never any concern or pressure should the Ceremony be delayed for any reason.
After the Ceremony, I usually factor in half an hour or so to continue to play music through my PA system during 'congratulations' time before I begin to pack away my equipment and bid farewell.
