Fantastic! The guests really enjoyed how personal the ceremony was. It was a great experience and really unique. We built the whole ceremony with her which felt very perfect! Very organised and on time.

Our Wedding Ceremony was perfect thanks to Susie's presence and creativity. The Ceremony was so important to Tom and i, so much that we knew there was no one else we would have rather come to our Tropical celebration in Bali. Through all the planning Susie had a gentle and guiding approach, with advice and ideas that we loved and incorporated into our ceremony. I have to say i think every single person who celebrated with us commented on the ceremony, saying that is was unique and heartfelt. Susie has a deep understanding of the importance or ritual and weaves her own magic into the ceremony with a sense of depth and a sense of fun at the perfect moments. We included a guided meditation, which Susie delivered beautifully, there were even Balinese drums from the local temple playing in the background, but we have to say that was just perfect timing. A massive heartfelt thank you to Susie. I can honestly say that although it held the most meaning and anticipation for me, the ceremony was the easiest part of the Wedding planning. Love and gratitude, Ange and Tom.

Susie really did make our day! Her ability to connect with us and hold a genuine space was remarkable. We had quite a detailed ceremony involving our 3 children and Susie offered great ideas of how to make it all work. There was not a dry eye in the audience and many people were inspired to renew their vows. Thank you Susie!

When's the best time to ask your wedding party to be in your wedding party?

Susie Figgis Byron Celebrant

Its a special invitation, so I'd say to choose a moment that feels special, and do the same with your ring bearers and witnesses.

I also suggest having a conversation around what it means for you to be asking these people to be your "bridal party".  What are you offering and what are your expectations of them?  For example make sure your Maid of honour knows that she will need to help with your dress when you arrive down the isle, and perhaps again when you turn to face your fiance mid way throught your cermony. (It's amazing how many brideamaides / MOH's aren't prepared or pre-warned that they need to do this!)

Another cool idea that lots of my couples like these days is to actually offer the bridal party a chance to sit down 1/2 way through the cermony so thay can also see and experience your faces while you are saying yoru Vows. This just involves creating a few reserved signs so they can have good viewing when they are invited to take a seat (usually 2nd row).

Is there a traditional left and right side for the bride's family and groom's family?

Does the bride's side traditionally sit on the left or the right at the ceremony?

Susie Figgis Byron Celebrant

I'm provide advice on this one thats a little bit radical. I suggest that the Brides family sit on the opposite side to where she's standing and same for the Groom .. this is so that the respective families can see the full face of their child while they are making their committments, rather than only being able to see them from from behind.  It makes such a differnce to family's viewing pleasure.

Regarding which side traditionally  is Grooms on right if you are guest looking towards the front, but this can be switched for many reasons .. including the position of the sun (better for Groom to get sun in his eyes than th bride) and sometiems a bride feels she has a better side or a hairdo that she wants to stand on one particular side
