I am a mum to adorable 2 year old Savanna. My husband Anthony and I live in Middleton and enjoyed our own wedding in May 2018. I have been a celebrant now for almost 4 years and i love my job learning about all the couples i work with and how to make each wedding have its own personal touch. With over 80 weddings under my belt it’s a beautiful world and a super busy wedding season ahead.

Does the celebrant have to do the whole "how they met" story?
I feel like that might be awkward for us. We are a super stong and stable couple now, but when we met we still had a lot of growing up to do (we were teenagers, and broke each others hearts.) We had a huge falling out and reconnected later. It was very messy and all of our fam and friends know that. Do we have to go into that when our life is so beautiful NOW, and has been for years now?

the sory you want to tell is the one that connected you. its not always the first meeting or first date. You dont want things brought up that you are not comfterbale with there is spo many things to talk about if the origional meeting is not relevant. find the funny stories and the things that make you both happy. Focus on the now as well as the goals and dreams that are to come.
I want an outside wedding... in November... in Australia. How can I keep everyone cool?
The weather is expected to be very hot but we don't want to sacrifice our dream. We'd love to have our wedding outside and under the stars but we don't want even sweating off their makeup and hating the day.

hydration is the key. one wedding i worked at was a 40 degree day and while there was beer for the guys no one had anything for the bride after the ceremony and while photos were getting taken. The last thing anyone wants is to get sick at thier own wedding. Have plenty of water and cool drinks on hand. Some options for shade will be a relief for everyone as well.
